Such viewings are limited to access viewing prints or tapes, and will normally be through Steenbeck table viewers for film or video playback machines. A few archives may be able to offer threatre screenings to groups. Charges will vary according to type of user and archive; some offer free viewings to non-commercial users. For details, see these archives' individual web sites. Some archives also offer a film/video hire/loan service, including the BFI National Archive, the Imperial War Museum Film Archive, the North West Film Archive and the Scottish Screen Archive.
