The UEA’s report, ‘Invisible Innovators', making women filmmakers visible across the UK’s Film Archives is now available. It has been commissioned by Film Archives UK to explore the current scale and scope of the holdings of women’s amateur filmmaking within the regional and national film and media archives and to investigate ways of optimising their visibility. 6.3.20

The 23rd ANNUAL FOCAL INTERNATIONAL AWARDS took place on Thursday 18th June ’26 in Westminster, London and it was certainly a night to remember for fellow FAUK Members who won in all their nominated categories!
Film Archives UK were well represented at the inaugural FOCAL International Festival of Archives. This new industry event which took place in London on 16th June, brought together archive and footage licensing professionals to explore commercial licensing, restoration, preservation, and the future of archive storytelling.
